Declaration of Disclosure

In all divorce cases the court requires that all Declarations of Disclosure be completed. Normally, Preliminary Declarations are exchanged shortly after the Respondent is served. Final Declarations of Disclosure are usually required to be exchanged before the first trial date is obtained, or at the time that a settlement agreement is filed with the court.

Completion of the Schedule of Assets and Debts and the Income and Expense Declarations are the most time-consuming aspects of the Disclosure Declarations. Work copies of these forms will provided you at our office, along with some instructions for filling them out. Please begin working on these promptly, as you will be required to gather various deeds, bank statements, credit card statements, etc.
